Stressed Out with Hardware :|

I ordered an A8N32-SLI Deluxe. It's a great board, but it won't overclock for me 🙁. It crashes out at 2.2ghz+. My older a8n-sli deluxe was at 2.72ghz without flaw. Using same processor. Anybody know whats going on?

Somebody please help me with my overclocking issue? I don't know why it won't go further. These boards are supposed to be rock solid on this. Please help!

Hey I have the machine at 2.72 on the latest BIOS...only limitation is my memory dividers will only boot at 100, 133, 200... for some reason 166, and 183 wont work

i tried one of these boards yesterday as well.. wasnt that impressed.. seems that for that extra X16 slot you give up alot.

regular PCI slot as well as 3 SATA ports.. crappy layout as well.

i went ahead and replaced my A8N-SLI Deluxe again and put my heatpipe back on it..

Don't worry, I know what your problem is (I think). I have the same mobo. You have to manually set the latency of the RAM to 3-3-3-8, because with PC4000 ram, it gets all messed up and thinks the latency is like 2-3-2-8 or something. But also remember, THE LATENCY SETTINGS IN THE BIOS ARE NOT IN THE USUAL ORDER!!. For my ram @ 3-4-3-8 PC4000 , I had to set the latency to 3-8-3-4 or something (not 100% sure). Just find out what each ram number is (TCRP, CAS, etc...), and then set that setting in the bios to that number. You should be fine after that.
