Hey all,
I got my Alpha PAL 6035 today, so I put my arctic silver on, pencil-unlocked my processor, and started overclocking. 800..fine. 900...fine. 950...fine. NO PROBLEMS.
1000...fine...EXCEPT...it SHOWS the processor running at 900. Then when I go intot the BIOS, it is shown as a multiplier of 10. SO, I save it again with a 10 multiplier... "AMD Duron @ 900 (9x100 MHz). So I check it agian in the BIOS, and it is still set at 10. So, I set it to 10.5, and the startup shows it at 950 MHz. So, what the dilly-yo? It doesn't make any sense. Is there a revision of the BIOS that doesn't show the correct processor speed?
Any help would rock.
