Strange production difference...

I added a 760Mhz Athlon to the crack rack. According to the speed page, it should produce 2.3MKeys/s. It's actually producing 2.57Mkeys/s, 270K more than it should be! Any ideas?

The new athlon specialized core. The speed page needs to be updated to 3.4 (i get about 3.39, but in something like linux, it could get to 3.4). That's why

If your Athlon is just running off the "Boot disk", you don't have alot of overhead running in the background.

The client has a niceness of 0, but all that it needs to back out of the way of, is network stuff.

That's always good for a boost in blocks completed.

Yeah, it looks like they need to update it. There's a listing for a P2-400 in Win98 getting 104Mkeys/s.
