Dunno about the source, but don't think it's completely out of the question - it's no crazier than Reagan selling weapons to Iran for the Contras; Clinton risking it all for a BJ from an ugly intern; or Dubya with his actions during the war-on-terror. The question is, should any President be willing to make such a deal if it were offered? If so, how much debt forgiveness would make it a reasonable deal?

sounds like a great idea... barter b2 tech for treasuries... then we can buy new ones at walmart in a year or so for half price...

I'm glad we're doing something with this technology other than bankrupting our country developing it.

$50B of "debt relief" is a drop in the bucket. This doesn't make ANY sense.

Other than some random blog, there really is no source for this. And yes, for strategic bombing missions (say into china or russia) the spirit is old tech ;)

Ill wait until something more reputable makes this claim. If this is somehow true? Talk about delivering a golden opportunity for Republicans to make a comeback no matter how inept they are right now.

selling that to taiwan would be seen as an act of war by US

this makes no sense. $50b is a small % of the margin of error in govt finance.

Anything's possible, but if you really believe that, maybe you should consider waiting for competent confirmation such a story before blowing smoke rings through the holes in your aluminum foil beany.

You really have detached yourself from reality. It's quite amazing to watch ;)

Knowing that China will likely have to be the one that needs to deal with North Korea... we'll see.

Obama is going to sell the B-2 blueprints??? Hahaha, the loony right wing hits a new low of paranoia and inanity.

Yeah, doubting this blog's story means being detached from reality.

Take a deep breath or two. Your dislike of Harvey is making you stupid.

The chances of this story coming to real life fruition are quite the long shot.

No. That was a fanciful right wing myth/lie explicitly designed to influence credulous and woefully uniformed boobs . . . like, apparently, you.

Isn't the B2 really old? I'd imagine China could easily design their own plane for the same purpose.

Just like they would design their own OS? or their own microprocessor? or their own airplanes?

They can try.. but they're still generations behind..
