if you answered no to any of these questions... pay the ticket. it is easier and less hassle.
if the answer to any of these is YES... you can try to fight it, but bottom line is that without pictures or witnesses, it is your word against the cop and the judge will ususally side with the cop, so you will have wasted a day in court and have to pay anyway.
He is listed as in California. A stop violation is a moving offense and worth a point. However CA allows you to negate a single point if you have not had a point in the last 18 months by paying the ticket (admitting fault) and taking traffic school.
Usually the option of traffic school is revoked if you do fight the ticket. In most cases where there is a traffic violation where the violator can go to traffic school, the most prudent thing to do is to pay the ticket and spend some mind-numbing time in traffic school so your insurance rates don't go up.
