credit to dtlove74 @ SD :

Microsoft Office 2013 is now available through the Home Use Program for $9.95 if the company you work for participates in this program. If you don't know your program code, just click where it says "Don't Know your Program Code?".

Edit: The SlickDeals wiki has been removed. Feel free to post working emails for others that may want to try this deal.

Direct download links (after you get your code) as well as universities and business e-mails that work and don't work (from SlickDeals):

Tried to order and once I click on complete purchase I get:

"A product you are purchasing is not offered."

any ideas why?

What email address domain are you using? Not all companies buy into the HUP program so not all email domains are allowed to purchase this.

How much does this retail for?

EDIT: Also, it won't let me add anything to cart, even though the e-mail went through fine.

The deal is dead because people abuse this, as it's against the TOS and EULA.

Home Use-Rights Programs are only intended to be used by the EMPLOYEES of said company, not by external users. These companies pay for this program by entering different types of agreements, and only get the number they are licensed for. The controls that administrators of the EA/HUP have are limited, unfortunately, and can be abused easily.

Looks like it's still active for me, but I know my employer participates in the Home Use Program (HUP).

Perhaps it appears to be dead only to those people whose companies are not participating in the Home Use Program?

Anyway, when you enter the email address, make sure you enter the email address of your employer that participates in the HUP.

My work offers a 2010 Office deal. I wonder if they've upgraded it to 2013.

Edit: Looks like my work upgraded to the 2013 version. $10 is definitely a sweet deal.

Hotmail works until you try to buy it, then it won't add to the cart. I had the same problem with a USC.edu address. :(

I recall reading that the 2010 deal allowed more than one installation back when I bought that deal, but I'm not sure if it was limited to two installations. I'd imagine the 2013 deal is similar, I bet the fine print is somewhere on that site.

It was one desktop and one mobile device. Not really sure how they determine what you're using.

Okay. That's good to know. I was in on the 2010 copy but haven't installed it on more than one PC.

Just got in on the 2013 this morning using my work email.
