confused that my company (in top 60 Fortune 500) does not have this program!!! I mean, jeez the amount of money they give to MSFT is probably staggering...can't they throw us a bone!!

My current .EDU address would not work, but it used to be a .MIL address that now gets forwarded to my current inbox. My "old" one did work for me.

are these transferable if its installed on one PC then you buy a new PC can it be transfered. I realize its only licensed for one machine.

Yes, you can.

I've installed this on multiple machines.
If I remember correctly, after the third one, I was unable to activate online and had to dial in. I had just decided to upgrade my hard drive after installing it.

The dial-in process was automated. Basically, asked me to confirm that I didn't have more than two machines running it.

My work domain was not being accepted last week, but today it went through immediately, so you might want to try again if you were turned down originally.

jumped on this last aug/sept, when myspace was still working... Got one, but now it's saying my product key code is invalid.. I guess you better have a legit email, otherwise, in the long haul, it'll get you back!

Even if your company/school/militray email is not working, but you know they are part of HUP.You can get a program code from HR/Admin and enter it in at the program eligibility page. Then use any email to get the deal.

http://www.microsofthup.com/hupus/home.aspx?country_id=US&dialect_id=en-US&WT.mc_id=vc411&lookup

Then click "Enter Program Code Manually" on the right hand side.

Won't work, your company has to list domains that will accept your companies program code. I tested this out for my company to verify how we control this.

Previously my company was not a participating member of the HUP. Worked immediately this time around, thanks OP!

hmm i wonder if its cool to use a dev(MSDN) copy at home if you are remotely developing from home? I forget if they are pissy about location usage.

I had an issue with installing this on my enterprise windows 7 box running 2010 enterprise. It wouldn't install, 2010 wouldn't reinstall. I had to go to 2008 and everything worked.

mine came as a version 3 -- is there a good bios to flash to the version 3 model?

Thanks!

Is this back up? I just tried clicking the link in an old email for it. I still get a blank cart when I try to add to cart.

what are you guys talking about? 2008 versus 2010? bios version 3 model?

HUP is a program that always is around bro. It's part of the enterprise agreement for companies with 250+ desktops opt to use to simplify licensing on a non-perpetual basis.

Huh, in January I was able to get through but now I get this error:
"We were unable to retrieve your program code at this time and are unable to qualify you with the email domain you have provided."

I've always been able to get through without knowing my program code, so I'm not sure if I absolutely need it now or my company no longer supports this.

Hmmm, why can't I add the item to cart then? I could add other items on the site to my cart, such as visual studio, but when I push add cart for Office 2013, my cart remains empty.

When I asked elsewhere, they told me the "promotion" was over.

EDIT: Ok I googled, people are saying there are no more licenses with the organization I'm with.

I don't think they're too picky. I put in my personal hotmail email and it went through.

My PSU email is no longer usable so I wouldn't be able to sign up for it. I do have hotmail but I rarely use it.

The @hotmail program code I found online is not working... has anyone else been able to get this through a hotmail email? Thanks!

Tried my work email, used to be school email, and hotmail. All didn't work.
