While I own no apple products, support android and have yet to buy an ipod, RIP steve jobs, you were a great man.
 
spare me the "saint steve" bullcrap. this guy was a liar and a thief, and death is his final sales pitch. style has finally triumphed over substance.

Love or hate the guy, his company and products set benchmarks in their respective classes that many others tried to emulate and strive to beat. His presence provided a competitive field in the phone, laptop and portable music markets that all of us owning those devices have benefited from even if you didn't buy their product.

Hopefully Apple can continue their success and keep things competive with their counterparts. We all win when other companies are trying to one-up each other in performance and function.

Steve Jobs was this eras Edison.
His ideas changed the face of technology.
 
RIP, Steve 🙁 Sad day here in the Silicon Valley. Started with the shootings at the quarry this morning(nothing like waking up to helicopters and lots of sirens). On the way home from work I turned on the radio to get an update of the shootings and hearing Steve died hit me hard.

I've never been a diehard Apple fan but when I started using a macbook pro last year at work I was hooked. Still use my PC for gaming and I have an android phone but damn I love that macbook.

Thanks for changing the world, Steve. We'll miss you greatly 🙁

i don't understand your childish attacks on my family, but i can't imagine they fit in with this forum's rules of conduct. perhaps a moderator would be able to clarify that point.

my point in bringing up wozniak is that he was the creative genius, and someone else was the face. go to an apple store tomorrow and ask those fans about woz. i bet you can't find 10 that have ever heard of him, or care. i'm sorry i didn't effectively communicate that to you earlier. next time i'll be sure to phrase things in such a way that even a goddamned jackass like yourself can understand.
 
I hate Apple but Steve Jobs did revolutionize everything today. Without the first iPhone we would not have had everyone rushing in to develop all of these smartphones today.
