sternum popping?

Anyone ever get a really stiff feeling around their frontal chest sometimes and if you bend backwards, you feel your sternum popping? I usually get that feeling if wake up from sleeping curled up or if I'm slouching for a long time sitting in front of the computer. Is this normal? I've been noticing this for about a year now and it's starting to hurt sometimes..

It's actually a misalignment with your neck/upper back. I have that problem and go to the chiropractor. He fixes my neck and it's gone until I mess my neck up again.

I had that for a while after I started lifting consistently, but I started bikram yoga about a month ago and it's gone away! I noticed it last weekend along with the lack of tension between my shoulder blades.
