COH: ToV is very short, which is why I waited until this sale to get it. The production value of the content that's there is pretty high, but the singleplayer campaigns themselves are extremely short. It does add some new multiplayer vehicles and a few new MP game modes.

I've wanted to play The Witcher for awhile, but I'm not sure if I should wait longer for some sort of uber deal. I wouldn't be able to play it until September at the soonest, probably October actually. So that's not an easy decision

I'm in the same boat. Plus, while I know metacritic has some high ratings for the game, when it first came out it was so-so. did the director's cut really enhance the game that much?

This is version 3.0 -- original, enhanced edition, director's cut. Both upgrades were free.

GoGamer has the imported collector's enhanced edition for $50, with extras like an artbook and music CD.

if anybody is interested in the witcher, bestbuy's outlet store on ebay is selling it cheap, i paid $11 shipped for a brand new unopened copy. just took a few hours then to upgrade to 1.5 to get all the new features

Got a link? I searched the BB outlet store but couldn't find it. 😱

the only good deal steam had was orange box + portal for $10
since then, none of these have impressed me

Maybe you just don't like good games? I got 5 X-Com games for $5, and paid $10 for Dark Messiah of MM, Beyond Good and Evil and a couple more.

1 game for $10 is =/= to hl2, hl2 ep1, hl2 ep2, portal, team fortress 2 for $10

oh and as for X-Com, those can be gotten for free if you look on abandonware sites.
MicroProse, the original creators of them, went out of business 6 or 7 years ago

I paid $10 total for -4- ubisoft games including DoMM and BG&E. You said Orange Box was "the only good deal" which prompted my sarcastic response.

It also seems silly to advocate piracy instead of paying $5 to support the rights-holders of the games, the company that bought MicroProse.

A wonderful deal for gamers who haven't had the experience yet...

66% off (comes to ~$17) for Everything Half-Life.

I'm thinking about gifting this. For such a great price, this might be the best way to give someone a nice intro to Valve's flagship.

Thanks for the update. I actually ended up purchasing the Episode Pack since I'm only missing Episodes 1 and 2. Great deal on HL2 stuff!

I got the episode pack. For $6 bucks 1 and 2, it was nothing. Now I can catch up lol. Too bad i missed that orange box for $10 before.
