Lots better then using the Xbox game controller. THOUGH I will say, if you have a Xbox 360, the graphics for it are much better. I know hard to believe, but dont take my word for it, try it out for yourself, I did. In Binocular mode on the 360 it goes in and out o focus depending on whats in frame/center of screen. Shadows and other graphics are much better as well as water. Kinda a shame, and Im talking when you turn all the eye candy and res up to max on the pc, it just cant look near as good as the 360 version.

Still not bad though, well worth the $5, I get this game through my Gametap subscription, but Im going to buy it now too for when I dump GT.

Just remember that this is not the new game that came out in 2008 (Underworld). This is Anniversary which is, basically, the first Tomb Raider game remade using the Tomb Raider: Legend engine. I think Legend (and Anniversary) came out in 2006.

That being said, I still think it's a deal at $5.

I just couldn't play the tomb raider games with a keyboard. Tried and ended up ordering a 360 controller for pc.
Amazon has the wireless for $39 shipped.

Im the total opposite, I cant play these types of games with the controller, but Im killer with a keyboard and mouse 🙂
I got the 360 dongle and have it on my pc, I use that mostly for racing games, best controller for that, and its great that you can use all the other 360 controllers for the other games to like the Guitar for GH on the pc, and the steering wheel, and etc.

Have you ever tried a Logitech joystick with racing games on PC? After a bit of gain tweaking, the ammount of control and precision kills thumb stick IMO. I used to be able to stay perfectly in a lane in need for speed games on turns ect after tweaking a joystick. Trick is to tone it down from center to about 50% so you get a lot of precision control around the center and then from 50 to 100% movement exponentially bring it up to a 100% steering.

yeah i have and i got their kick ass momo steering wheel, problem is my desk and surroundings is always a mess and no room for either 2 days after i clean it 😛

Picked it up for myself and gifted copies to my 2 kids, lol. Good game, I spent a few hours playing it today, if I wasn't so invested in finishing up Resident Evil 5 right now, I would have probably spent more time with it.

I saw that Strategy Front has all of their Steam games 50% off. Not sure when that started.

That sale started on Tuesday.

Are any of those Strategy Front games worth playing?

Sacred is a good, if dated, RPG. Diablo II-ish with more character development depth, much wider open world, slightly better graphics, but from what I played it was very easy to "wander off forever".

The Flatout series is kind of fun, although frustrations with keyboard driving led me to drop it.

Disciples II is a turn based strategy/fantasy; it can be fairly frustrating until you get the hang of it.

Dark Star One is a Freelancer-esque (or Privateer, for older players) sim, but with a significantly steeper learning curve.

Space Empires is a great strategy series if you're into that genre.

Jagged Alliance is a must-have for anyone who is a fan of squad level turn based combat.

World Wide Soccer Manager 2009 deal added for weekend of 4/17

Unless you're in China, Germany, Japan, Korea or Russia, then it's Universe at War for 50% off.

While I don't wish I was in China, Germany, Japan, Korea or Russia, I might snag UaW for $10 before I bought World Wide Soccer Manager 2009 for any amount.

Huh? I have checked 3 different ISPs and none say anything about Universe at War being the weekend deal.
