I think I played the new Trine co-op with my girlfriend. Can't remember but I'll look into that since I was just scanning my library for an easy achievement. If all else fails, I'll just run through Hero Siege on Hardcore - that's pretty simple.

As for Talos Principal, I've heard mixed reviews. Is it strictly a puzzle game or is there more to it?

You're misremembering. As isthereanydeal confirms, this is the lowest it's been on Steam.

And it's well worth it. The demo as I understand was during the pre-release.
No, I do not misremember. I almost bought it at that time, when it had a lower price than it has now. And I played the Demo after game release.

Also, I do not know why you say isthereanydeal confirms this is the lowest Steam price:

The problem here is that you're talking about Euro pricing whereas I'm talking about USD. It's never been below $9.99 in USD.

Dark Souls 3 - 23.99
All the Final Fantasy Series are also @ 50% off... (except the MMO)
NieR Automata 30% off @ $41.99
Tom Clancy Ghost Recon @ 33% off $40.19

NieR is great, however its controller pad recommended.... also has some bugs in launching, but if you can get past that, its a really good hack / slash.

Dark Souls 3... rage quit warning... lol...

Im actually thinking about ghost recon.... however i heard its not worth that price even.... it needs to drop another 20 dollars.

Yeah NieR Automata is amazing. Man I have to turn down some settings to medium though on my 970 to get roughly 60 fps, including a hidden setting in FAR (which is a must to install to get full resolution). Don't get me wrong, I'm used to turning settings down with an almost three year-old gpu, but the only other game I have had to lower settings so much in was Rise of the Tomb Raider, and that's one of the most graphically amazing games I have ever seen. NieR Automata isn't good at all graphically even maxed out. It looks like a game that could have been done on PS3 (though at 30 fps then). With all that said, the fighting and storyline is absolute A+ material which more than makes up for how poor a port the PC version is from the PS4, and it's an essential game to pickup for anyone with a PC or PS4 who enjoys open world action games.

It has more - a sort of story, lots of text, atmosphere - some will enjoy and some won't, that's pretty optional - I suggest viewing it as a puzzle only game but a great one I've never heard one complaint about, and if you like the atmosphere, it's a bonus.

This. My post was based on the US info.

I recently looked for the demo, it's not on Steam now, and the info I found said it had been made before release and removed, don't know when.

Bought Shadow of Mordor for 4.00. Had wanted to try it, but not willing to shell out $ until now. If I don't like it, haven't lost much.

I forgot about this Summer's sale. I picked up 3-4 games last year that I never installed. Probably the same thing that will happen now.

Going to take a look and see what's good. I got ghost recon wild lands for free with my gpu.

I won't recommend it. Graphically, it's nice and I can run it on ultra at 1440p for 50-70fps although performance is much better on very high or mixed settings. It's really not optimized as much as it should be.

Gameplay is pretty boring and repetitive. Story is pretty non existent. Just take down leaders of a community until you get to their main boss..rinse and repeat.

It's not really like a tom Clancy game at all. It's fun to play for a little but you will get bored quickly.

I still can't believe they dropped the price tag so low on that game, but I think they want to build hype for the next game so it sells better (especially since it's received so much hate already).

I ended up getting Dream Car Racing 3D. Been waiting for a game that lets you design the entire vehicle, chassis and all. Have not gotten anything else as I have pretty much every game I want otherwise.

So far I've bought Rebel Galaxy, Satellite Reign, and Captain Forever Remix. Think I'm going to buy Hands of Fate tonight.

picked up arma 3 to play with my son, he has been playing for a couple of years now. Had a great time messing around on a server he setup, and doing custom missions.

Picked up both the Metro redux titles for $7.50. Always heard great things about them and they seem really atmospheric. Looking forward to them. Grab the orange box again for a friend since it was $4 or so.

How's Arma 3 for someone that is brand new? Is there a single player or training? It reminds of a simulation I used to play, Digital combat simulator for the A-10C. I went all out and got a track IR too for that. It took me weeks to pick up and learn but there were several training scenarios so I got comfortable eventually.

I have a game already activated on my Steam account (Kingdom Rush). I wanted to buy it for a couple friends as a gift. Is this not possible through Steam?

I'd like to give Arma III a try as well. DCS is hardly a "video game". There is a steep learning curve.
