😕

It's already a daily deal.

Oh, you're right. I thought it'd drop lower than that. Well, hey, everyone buy Cities: Skylines @ 33% off; best price you can expect. Haven't played it myself, but if you like city simulators, it's the one to beat right now. I've actually watched some pretty cool videos of that game, both of the "check it out, I've built an amazing metropolis" variety and the far more entertaining "I didn't plan this out correctly and now my entire city is under a lake" variety.

always save your game before constructing a dam.

that's the most important rule of Cities.

One correction to the Steam front page - it says that the Far Cry franchise is 40 - 45% off. I just bought Far Cry 4 (which I may not even be able to play at acceptable levels with my HD6950 1GB, but it's a trade-off between price and supporting games I like, and I'll be upgrading my video card this summer or fall anyway to prepare for Fallout 4) for 50% off.

Also, Grim Fandango Remastered is $7.49.

I've also picked up Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Outlast: Whistleblower DLC, the Metro Redux bundle, and three games I can't remember from this morning but which were less than five bucks total. And yet I'm working again today, for which I'll get neither pay nor time off . . .

I'm still enjoying Rogue Legacy...when I have free time to play, I still go for that one first. even though I bought it two years ago almost.

the games i want aren't cheap enough yet.

Basically, this, I see no deals here.
These are pretty much standard prices for most everything I would have wanted.

I guess the only good thing with this sale this time around is that if you don't like something, you can return it.

I agree. I've picked up some smaller games in the $5.00 range, but I haven't been blown away yet by anything. The GTA5 deal was pretty lame.

Tempted by Gas Guzzlers Extreme @ 80% for $5.59 seems quite cheap, maybe too cheap - any recommendations on this one?

Is it just me or is the Flash sales going for WAY longer than they used to?

Yeah they used to be every 8 hours. Which is how it started this sale IIRC, but the latest flash sale appears to be going for 36, and now advertises new deals every 12 hours. Guess there's more profit to be had in those extra few hours, which makes sense.

Just bought 7 days to die.. looks like a fun game. Hoping its better than H1Z1.. sure it will be since that game is broken.

Is Civ: Beyond Earth it worth it at that price ? Initial reviews were not the greatest.

I don't know what price it is, but the game is one of the first 4x games that didn't draw me in at all. It is just plain dull. I usually love 4x games more than any other game, but Beyond Earth just didn't cut it.

Got battleblock theater and guacamele super championship on Friday for $3.75 each and bought castle crashers for a dollar and change, and grim fandango for $7.50.

Endless Space is really cheap for a little bit longer, is it a good space 4x game? I'm looking for a 4x in the space or fantasy realm.

The Steam summer sale has Fallout 3 GOTY and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate edition (each with all the DLC) on sale for $11.99 each.

The Fallout games have been surprisingly expensive recently. I bought New Vegas during the 2013 Summer sale for $5, and Fallout 3 was the same price. I don't think I've seen them below $7.50 in the last year.

I picked up Cities:Skylines because I've been jonesing for a city builder and the price was good. It's quite in-depth. Much harder than the old SimCity games. Also grabbed Prison Architect because 85% off was a steal. Still waiting to see if Tabletop Sim and Talos Principle hit a daily or flash deal. That's really all I'm interested in right now. I've got a backlog as it is, and Fall is going to be a wallet killer with MGS V, Fallout 4, and XCOM 2.
