Dragon Age Inquisition is on sale for 50% off today @ Origin. Not sure if that is a great sale or not compared to past prices, but it's a great game.

That is a good price. Each to his own about the game. I consider it "good", well done, not any major flaws. I just dont think I would consider it great. I still prefer KOTOR and DAO, but DA:I is worth it at half price. I just could never seem to feel any connection to the characters or the game world, like I did in Bioware's earlier games. The game just seemed to be missing something somehow. Maybe it is just me, IDK.

Borderlands the Pre-Sequel + season pass = 72% off = $25.19

$60 for the bare game and $20 for the DLC was way too high, but I think that's down to my price 🙂

Any thoughts on watch dogs? Is 24 dollars a good deal?

Does the price go down by the hour? It's $15.99 now or 60% off.

I picked up Creeper World 3 last night $1.49. Kind of a tower defense game. Got my monies worth in just a few levels.

I'm tempted to pick it up too, but the thing for me is that they still haven't really addressed any issues with enemy scaling. Enemies just feel like meatshields at the higher difficulties, so you just end up shooting them... a lot. I'd like to see different abilities added or better AIs at higher difficulties (playthroughs).

How about Spore? I loved the beginning, the primordial part. I don't think I got out of tribe mode though.

I see there's a few expansions. Not sure if they are worth while.

Cities: Skylines is 30% off

great game if you were disappointed by Sim City.

Agreed, and the amount of Workshop items for it is overwhelming, including things from professional asset creators to complex traffic evaluations. If they ever expand the available build area, and allow region connections, this will be THE city builder we'll all compare everything to in the future.

Loving Valkyria Chronicles. It has console written all over it, but everything I love about RPG's - party building, strategic combat, and that "let me retry with something different" feel is there.

Picking up Child of Light and This War of Mine before they go off sale. I know I'm disobeying the Rule on TWoM, but it's not a huge difference between 60% and 75% on a game normally priced at $20.

I'd hold off. Still a chance it goes on a Daily or Flash special and gets 50+% off. Always worth holding out for the best possible deal. But I suppose you could buy it, wait until the last day of the sale to see if anything better comes along, and refund it if it does. Still, I generally stick to this flowchart and it works pretty well:

Only game I've picked up so far is Tales From the Borderlands.

Enjoying it so far, but about an hour in and the story really hasn't grabbed me at all. Hoping it gets better.

Got a bunch of cheap little things I've been waiting on.

Bought some of the better Sim3 packages. Pets was actually not as much fun as I thought it would be.

My only issue is I'd like to install the DLC one at a time and play with them slowly, so I can get used to new items and features. Game is giving me crap, wont let me play now. Gotta figure that crap out.

Waiting on good sales for some of the more expensive items I've had on my wishlist.

Oh, and people need to stop whining about Grand Theft Auto 5.

Its a brand new triple-A title. Only greedy fools would believe they'd mark it way down.
Go study Supply & Demand!

😕

It's already a daily deal.

My mistake, for some reason, I thought it was on sale for 24 dollars earlier, I think I got its price mixed up with the Shadow of Mordor game.

Still, it is more Borderlands -- more of the same but new maps and story. I just started playing as Willhelm and the first hour or so was fun.
