Source? I recently played the Enhanced version of BG1 and didn't notice any dumbing down, though it's been a while since I played my original version...

It in the user review on GOG! It might just be BG2 though. Regardless maybe I should have bought it, now regretting my decision. Old graphic hurt my eyes, dam.

How are the walking dead games? They look like choose your adventure books.

I played the first one, I liked it a lot, it has a better written story than the TV show. That being said, I would have been equally happy to just watch someone complete the story on a YouTube play though at this point, which is probably what I will do instead of playing though the second season of it.

One cool thing about the game is when you finish a chapter, it tells you how everyone else in the world played the game based on the choices you make.

Probably won't buy anything - backlog is getting embarrassing. If prices are REALLY good, I might jump on Fallout 4 preorder, or Far Cry 4, or whatever Wolfensteins I don't already own.

I really doubt you will see a price on Fallout 4 as low as what GMG has had it.

I'll see if I can make it the whole sale without buying anything. I so rarely game anymore...chances are it'll just be wasted money. 🙁

Probably not, but to me it's worth an extra $10 or $20 to have it on Steam. Soooo convenient to have all my games in one place, automatically downloadable if I change PCs.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - have not even installed it.
I just started playing this last week. You should give it a try it is quite good. You just get have to get past the overly long tutorial.

Why would you preorder something when you already have a huge backlog? You probably have plenty to keep you busy for the 2-3 months it will take for it to be at 50% off.

I'm limiting myself to games $5 and under. So I doubt I will buy much.

It an addiction mate, I don't think I play 75% of the game I buy. Still have not played Bullet Storm yet, have it install and ready to go and etc...

ah i missed the gift card deal. i don't play any of the games i buy except for the co-op ones. so if any co-op games come up i'll probably pick them up.

Want You Need A Budget, I know it's not a game but last summer Steam had it for $10 or $15, way too cheap to spend $59 on it. I really hope this goes on sale again, and I hope I don't miss it 😀 Last summer I forgot and checked at work and it was on sale with 5 minutes left, by the time I got my debit card from the car and added it to my cart it was too late.

Watching someone play the Telltale games is not the same at all.

They manage to create some real tension that you simply can't feel if you're not the one making the decisions.

I may pick up a couple copies of Borderlands 2 Complete or GOTY edition if they're $8 each or less. I want to co-op this game with a couple friends. I've never played it other than single player (more than just for a few minutes). The two friends haven't played BL2 at all.

Thank you! That make it easier for me to buy. It not the same watching it on Youtube even if it probably the one type of game where you can get away with it watching on Youtube.

Haven't bought a Steam game for about a year. Was really looking forward to Project Cars, but seems like it hasn't quite lived up to the hype and still needs work, but if it's on sale and the price is right, I may get it. Dirt Rally might be worth a look, the Codemasters Dirt games are pretty fun. Maybe Assetto Corsa or The Crew. I like racing games, they aren't cheap though.

Tough to buy games in summer, we actually do stuff outdoors.

Check the Badges section of your Steam profiles.....there is a "mystery" badge setup.....so (no surprise) Steam is going to have some type of card shenanigans associated with this sale.

That's been there for about two weeks or so. I've already gotten badges 1 and 3. I think 1 was just for crafting another badge and 3 for purchasing a game. But, you're probably right that it has to do with the sale in some way.

Sooo...

GTA V for $20. I haven't gotten into the previous GTA games, but people keep saying this one is great. $20 doesn't seem bad for a game that came to the PC and next gen systems so recently.

Edit: Nevermind. It's all different now. Must be a mistake...
