Yeah I have never been a fan of Norton. I used to use avast, but there was too much bloat and they always tried to sell you extra features. Same with AVG. Now I just mainly use Windows defender and malwarebytes, and other free tools if I suspect something is up.

dude no mining... no NFT on steam please.
Im so glad Gabe gave the big middle finger to NFT games and told them all "get off my platform."

Also i do not want a game where your playing to mine crypto / trade crypto / anything that has to do with crypto.
If you allow game developers to profit from it, we'll soon see loot boxes you buy from crypto you mined on that game where the studio will take a cut from your initial farming and then the rest of the pie from you getting loot boxes.

So No.... leave my games alone please, and like Gabe, NFT's can also get the big middle finger from me as well.

you would never need to worry about ea origin, google stadia, or any other platform shutting down and you losing your game library. you would have proof of ownership token and be able to download a copy or rom.

but there is another valid use case.
i saw a video suggesting that if the metaverse (not the by company formerly known as faceschmook) ever becomes a thing, nft's on PoS might be necessary as a public ledger of everyone's digital inventory since no one company/entity would be responsible for managing saves of your avatar/account.

Yeah that is actually a fair interpretation of a way to distribute and sell games. I admit I hadn't thought of this before, but this gives NFT / blockchain tech additional potential / usage. It could be used for other software packages as well.
