You know, I've always been surprised at how much DLC there is for Railworks. Is it REALLY that popular? How many railroad enthusiasts can there be, really?!
too bad there isn't a 24 page thread on this already...
oh wait...

It's a paradox isn't it?
You would think there would be more flight sim fans, but Railworks has been chugging along for some time now.
I wish that game would get modded up or expanded to include being able to pick up cargo, make deliveries and work industries. I don't get it, the ground work is laid, people beg for a railroad tycoon yet it just stays as a simulator.
As to the popularity question, lol:
"On June 12, 2009 RS.com released Railworks via the Steam web site. Then on July 2, 2009 they released the DVD Boxed version.
Interest in the new version was such that the DVD Boxed version sold out the first day."
Borderlands for 10 bucks. How is it that this game is so obscure?
there's one spot i used to drive by on my way to work where there is an open area with a train track next to it. people were always parked there with cameras out and stuff to watch and take pics of the trains. usually it was older guys. You know, I've always been surprised at how much DLC there is for Railworks.
