The Witcher - $5
FEAR Pack - $10
Serious Sam HD - $3

Just need TF2 and GTA4 to go on for cheap < $5 then I'm done. Unless something random draws me like Serious Sam or The Witcher.

Neverwinter Nights 2 is on steam with its two expansions. 50% off. Worth it for sure if you like old school role playing.

how does nwn2 compare to the first one?

Pretty well. At the time of release people had problems with bugs and performance but I'm sure the bugs have been mostly removed and performance shouldn't be an issue on a modern rig.

FEAR Pack - F1 is kinda old and looks not so good, played it for a few minutes, controls are a bit weird too, something doesn't feel right with the movement, can't really put my finger on it though... Didn't try F2 yet.

Bad Company 2 - very fun so far! looks great and plays even better. Blowing a wall off to shot enemies behind it = win :D

Neverwinter Nights 2 - got it from GamersGate some time ago, but I want all my games in one place so I re-bought it :p It's a classic :)

I ended up buying more than I want to list. Spend about 140 bucks and have enough for the year or till the next sub 10 dollar hits hit.

Witcher for $5 was the only thing I picked up. Have way to many games already, but seems like a good deal for a high rated game.

I got the King Arthur pack. It was awesome until about 20 hours in when the difficulty goes through the roof, and it just isn't fun.

I agree with you. I played FEAR 2 first a while back, and I wanted to check out FEAR 1, but it's just so awkward. Movement is definitely an issue, as the screen bobbing is annoying as hell. Mouse look seems way to loose, no matter what settings you use.

I figure I'll get used to it eventually.

I'm pretty tough to please but I found it entertaining, for a while. Towards the end some missions get darn tedious. Also, not all of your PC's got an equal amount of time by the writers. In fact the writing seems to vary wildly throughout the game. The ending is incredibly lame for what was supposed to be an epic RPG.
But the combat is solid and the spellcasting is fun if difficult. I also didnt like the clunky craft system but you can ignore it completely and still have fun.

Monkey Island (mainly for my sister, she loves this shit)
Rome total war
Medieval total war (although i don't plan on playing it for a long time, ie: after I'm done with rome)

thats it for far. i bought ME2 earlier in the year, have no desire to play BC2 as I dunno if people are even playing and if my rig will get owned. and games like NWN2, I'm just not sure if i'll ever play (I played the demo years ago and remembered it was fucking slow and buggy on my pc)
