I'm thinking about Fallout 3. I'm an FPS guy whose skills are fading....

I was almost 100% a shooter/FPS guy....then I tried Fallout 3 because everyone was talking about it. I tried it. Dude, amazing. IMO, this is a no brainer. No single player game offers more for you buck...not even close. You could put 100 hours in this game and just scratch the surface. It's amazing.

Great Deals on 1C games..... You can get the WHOLE 1c Theatre of War collection + Men of War and Men of War Red Tide, ALL for under $40!! That is one hell of a deal!!

picked up fear, bc2 for second steam account and fallout even though I already own base just to get em in steam and get the dlc's.

Cant pull the trigger on the 2k pack. If it was 10 bucks cheaper I would..

I'd like to try out Fallout 3, but if I'm going to spend that much I should just buy the Bethesda Pack since I've never played any of those games.

Picked up Super Meat Boy, looks fun. 🙂

Also, if anyone happens to see the Borderlands DLC go on sale, maybe send me a PM or something in case I miss it. Have been wanting to buy the DLC for a while, but can't justify $10 a pop.

Anyone else having problems with payment? I bought 4 games then BAM...nothing.

It's not authorizing anything...credit cards, paypal...nada...

I got a message saying my CC was declined but I got the thank you email and the games showed up on my games list.

damn it. I bought Vietnam via EA store a couple of days ago. I wanted a Steam version of BFBC2 for better Steam integration, but held off because it was never on sale. I may buy it again anyways but damn it.

So I doubt too many people will want to do this, but I bought a Steam version of BFBC2. I already had the disc version, and bought Vietnam on the 18th from the EA Store. Anyways, when I installed the Steam version all the EA info from the disc install was imported into the Steam version, and Vietnam was playable. I'm assuming this is because its tied to your EA login. It also appears my Steam CD key wasn't even used, as Steam prompts me with the CD key and says that I'll need to enter it to activate the game everytime I start the game, but the game never asks for it.

Better have a controller, kb mouse controls do not lend themselves well to this game

nothing interesting so farl (for me). I'd love to see a total war series sale....gimme 15 dollars and i'm in. However, I'm also hesitatnt b/c I heard many fans gave up on Total War: Napoleon because of the bugs

Ignore this post if you were talking about meatboy. 😉

Re: Borderlands

I disagree, it is fine with kb mouse - like most fps, I would wager its probably better.

Unless you grew up a 'dirty console kid', you'll have no problem using the superior mouse/kb controls with this game.

Any reccommendations for me? Hate fps (too old for twitch games). Favorites in the past have included Diablo 1 & 2 (all time most played probably), Titan Quest, Civ 2, Ultima 4 & 5, Railroad Tycoon. Relatively modest one year old computer (GT 240 512MB video).

(As you can see I am way, way out of the loop re games).

Would love something along the hack & slash and/or good story line. I am allergic to reading a massive manual to figure out how to play a game.

Fallout 3 or New Vegas.
