It's a very mediocre series of top-down shoot-em-ups. Fun for maybe a few minutes, but the lasting appeal really isn't there at all.

I love this game; definitely one of my favorite casual titles. It's a trials-style driving game where you have to drive a truck full of stuffed-animals over hazardous terrain, while trying to keep as many of them in the truck as possible.

It used to be called "Smuggle Truck" and involved smuggling Mexicans into the US, but they had to make another version of the game and change the theme to make it inoffensive enough to sell in some places.

Yeah, I got it in a Humble Indie Bundle as well. It was one of the Android bundles actually, but there were PC versions of everything as well.

Assuming you activated the HIB Steam key on your account, you should have the game on Steam already. If not, then what are you waiting for? Fun little game.

I bought QUBE for $12 on release and I enjoyed it. It's a first-person puzzle game that kind of reminds me of Portal. Not very long, but worth $7 if you're really interested. I think Steam has a demo.

Far Cry 2 is the subject of a lot of mixed opinion. Some people like it. A lot of people hate it.

FYI, it has nothing to do with Far Cry 1, so there's a chance that you still might like it. The problem with FC2 is that it's a very repetitive, uninspired game with set in an otherwise beautiful environment with good gunplay. It feels like more of a tech demo than an actual game.

The missions are all pretty much the same: Drive from point A to B, kill person C, repeat. Enemies respawn way too fast and you'll find yourself fighting the exact same guardposts that you cleared out earlier.

I spent a few hours in it, because the open-world African setting is quite pretty and the shooting is nice. But other than that it's a very shallow game.

For only $2.50 I definitely think it's worth checking out though.

I'm in the Farcry 2 hate group as well. If they made a remastered version that fixed the spawning crap alone it would be worth it probably. But as it is, you spend 5 mins clearing a guard post to go kill some dude a bit further down the road. Kill said dude, head back and the guard post is full on respawned.....

i didnt know that about respawning, why the hell would anyone add that to a single player campaign? doesnt make any sense...
