Steam Black Friday?

I was expecting them to launch a week long sale like last year today as well.

Hopefully we get one starting tomorrow.

Either way, it probably is a good thing, Steam doesn't need to rape my wallet anymore.

this.

though i know I'm going to be checking them daily until the sale starts. 🙁

hoping for ME2 ~$15

:awe:

I still have games from last year's Christmas sale that I haven't played yet, but I'll still probably pick up at least a few this year 🙄

Fallout 3 for $10 would be nice.

LOL! Valve has created a monster. Whenever I think about buying anything other than a game I really, really want right now I always say to myself, "wait for the sale." I know I'm not the only one that buys PC games this way now.

Games I'm looking to get for cheap:

Transformers
Alpha Protocol
Singularity
Splinter Cell - Conviction

...ya know, the games that totally don't look worth full price, but might still be fun.

I think they had a great response to last years sale, I can say it was trouble for me, lots a stuf I have yet to touch. Fortunately, ( I don't think) there's much on there I would bite this year, unless the deals kick ass..

I don't think I can afford the harddrive space. Too many sales have eaten into too much of my space. Too bad Steam doesn't allow you to install games on more than one harddrive 🙁

Transformers "If your referring to War For Cybertron" is an excellent game. I just got it a few days ago. Great Generation One theme and nice story.

Do yourself a favor, and pick it up. 🙂

I got Alpha Protocol for $15 off ebay and its not worth that even.

Conviction was pretty fun though, except my friend and I can't play MP co-op together. Sucks because that was the main reason we got it. Every time we try to play a game the FPS drops to like 2 for me and I can't play like that. Plays awesome by myself and in SP. I heard it has some kind of thing that lowers the experience based on the lowest PC which doesn't make sense to me.

Waiting for Fallout: New Vegas to pop in at around $20. That's pretty much my limit when it comes to newer games. I know there's a deal for $25, but I just don't trust it.

I'm looking forward to the holiday sales for sure, but god knows I don't need the games. I've still got games from last year's sale that I've not even downloaded/installed yet. 🙂

Did Steam have a Black Friday sale last year? I thought it was only the holiday sale.

If they did have a Black Friday sale last year, was it just Friday or was it longer? I'm looking to get Torchlight for ~$5. That, and anything else that looks like a good deal!

wow, D2D will now even pricematch with

* Gamestop.com
* GamersGate.com
* Steampowered.com

Although its only after you pay for it and they give you the difference in store credit.

D2D's deal is the next 39 days, after you buy you get a 1 in 5 chance the order is free.

Darn, they had to start it a day or two after I spent $30 on Fallout New Vegas.

Well you don't have to install them 😛

And in Win7 (and I think vista and XP have other solutions) you can create file junctions to move games to other hard drives.
