assume that fillet mignon is smaller than a ribeye steak and it tastes however u would expect it to taste and the fillet costs $2 more.

Get one with the bone, also called a Delmonico cut. Remember the meat closest to the bone

When I took my steak cooked medium I would have said ribeye, but since I now prefer it very rare I'll take the filet.

Ribeye is the better tasting of the two. Go find a steak competition that doesn't use ribeyes. Better yet, find one that uses filets.

Hmmm...I've never tried the filet before, will give it a try some day. But I love the rib-eye with the fat on the inside and out.

Which part of the cow does filet mignon belong to?

I prefer the filet, because I'm not a big fan of fat. However, I like the ribeye too, so...

Ribeye all the way. The fillet tends to be a little bit too try for my tastes.

Both are good with preference going to filet. For goodness' sakes whichever you choose please never, ever ruin it with that poison called A1. :p
