Fair enough, though throwing the Nazi comment in there doesn't help. My wife's parents grew up in Nazi occupied Holland, so when libs throw that term around, I have nothing but feelings of contempt for those that do it.
Back to your point. I don't care about lavishing Trump (or any other political figure for that matter) with praise. The issue with the dems last night is that their behavior created a very poor optic for all but the 30% who would never vote for anyone that didn't have a D after their name. The members of the congressional black caucus sitting there glowering while good news was stated looks horrible and the sad truth is that perception is reality. I loathe that truism for many reasons, but it's still a reality in this day and age. I would never expect them to go crazy like fanboys over the comment, but polite subdued applause would have served them much better. All they did was reinforce the impression that some have that nothing will make them happy. Leaving people with that impression will prompt many to think 'well go f*ck off then, whiny bitches'.
