Obama dealt with zero investigations because we are learning that top DOJ officials and the MSM were working to cover up or ignoring corruption during the Obama era.
I guess you forgot about the Republican two year Banghazi hearings. What was the conclusion??

I'm not thrilled, but I'm happy to keep more money that I earn. Nothing wrong with that. No one has to lose health insurance, there are options out there. I am thinking about others when I say that I think Trump's tax plan is good for the middle class.

It's easy to pretend "there are options out there" when your finances aren't borderline. And of course, that doesn't mean the options people are suddenly forced to choose are actually good. Hey, there's an insurance plan you can afford, but it won't cover something you need, or a pre-existing condition, or...

Also, pro tip: not everyone in the US exists in the middle or wealthy classes, and those in lower classes don't necessarily deserve their conditions.

Fox News headlines this morning:

PARTY OF WOE: Glum Democrats sit, scowl and even walk out during Trump SOTU call for unity. They scowled as President Trump touted soaring jobs numbers, sat stone-faced when he honored veterans, and one even walked out after becoming triggered by a patriotic chant.

Isnt it too soon to tell? I mean his economy only started in October. Why dont we wait a few year to see how it pans out before claiming victory one way or another.

Reminds me of when leftists were saying that Bush would be remembered as the worst president in history before he was even out of office.

He is still considered one of the worst.

Worst US terrorist attack occurred on his watch whilst he was reading children's stories.
Started costly wars that gained the US nothing for which we are still quagmired
Triggered the worst US economic decline since the Great Depression.

How's that for starters?

Trump on the surface appears poised to be worse, but Bush is certainly the one with more ignominious accomplishments to date.

By what metric? Certainly not his policies.

Yes, by his policies.

First: it's patently obvious that the justification for the Iraq War was a massive lie, and not even a subtle one at that. Hussein was a terrible ruler, but these moves led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians and eventually laid the groundwork for ISIS.

Also, while Bush Jr. is a genius compared to Trump, he still wasn't particularly bright, and it showed -- he was basically a pawn for Cheney and other neoconservatives trying to push their own simplistic, warmongering ideologies.

And there are lots of other things. For example, Bush actually endorsed the idea of a constitutional amendment that would have made same-sex marriage illegal. He was very much part of that Republican urge to impose theocratic rule on the country, even if he wasn't pushing nearly as hard as people like, say, Trump and Pence.

Fair enough, though throwing the Nazi comment in there doesn't help. My wife's parents grew up in Nazi occupied Holland, so when libs throw that term around, I have nothing but feelings of contempt for those that do it.

Back to your point. I don't care about lavishing Trump (or any other political figure for that matter) with praise. The issue with the dems last night is that their behavior created a very poor optic for all but the 30% who would never vote for anyone that didn't have a D after their name. The members of the congressional black caucus sitting there glowering while good news was stated looks horrible and the sad truth is that perception is reality. I loathe that truism for many reasons, but it's still a reality in this day and age. I would never expect them to go crazy like fanboys over the comment, but polite subdued applause would have served them much better. All they did was reinforce the impression that some have that nothing will make them happy. Leaving people with that impression will prompt many to think 'well go f*ck off then, whiny bitches'.

Low unemployment in any community is a good thing. What's a problem is Trump demanding people credit and praise him for things he hasn't had anything to do with. Ask a different question. What has Trump done for the black community? What comes to mind first? Some Nazis are good people? Attacking black athletes for kneeling and completely distorting why they are doing it to vilify them? If the black community knows the trend in their communities unemployment has been on a steady decline that was in no way impacted by Trump why should they care what he has to say on the subject?

What positive thing has Trump done to help the black community since he was in office? Hell what has he done to even show them he gives a shit?

People like you who can learn these shocking, amazing, and deeply, secretly occluded truths are miracles of apperception and rank geniuses. You are holders of a sacred flame of truth and morality and may be the saviors of out Christian Nation. You are special and honorable in ways beyond belief, the cream of the American Way. And how fortunate and treasured you are because you have the capacity to take in these deeply hidden horrors, because without this special knowledge that you and so few of those like you who have the capacity to take it in, you would just be regular old nobodies with regular old nobody lives. To you we own the highest praise.

He's making a fine president so far. Those that don't like him just happen to really not like him. Don't get emotions confused with pro-American policies and stances.

Well, given that Trump regularly polls under 40 percent approval, that means most people really don't like him.

Trump gave a great speech covering all of the emotional hot spots of American culture, from our American exceptionalism to our racist fears. It was a masterpiece of emotional flattery and emotional appeal as any great con-person can easily put together. Now, can we get back to the business of impeaching him before the damage he is doing becomes totally impossible to repair.

They self identify as Nazis. They wear Nazi symbols and throw out the Nazi salute while carrying swastika flags. They espouse the same desires as Nazis. If that's not the appropriate term what would you rather I call them?

And this must be your first SOTU address. It's always played out that way, at least for the last couple of decades. This isn't the address it used to be. Now it's just speak to your base, wait for applause, continue. Watch any of Obama's addresses and tell me if the GOP responded any differently.
