keep it up!

Hehe thanks DP. Good catching up with ya dude.

Ok, I didn't update 9/5 because I basically stayed the same (only lost .5 lb ish) and didn't have time to do much of anything.

This week, I only did 2 cardio sessions but one thing has remained constant: MY CALORIC INTAKE. Here's the great results: 184.8lbs (average of two readings). So that's ~6 lbs in 5 weeks!

Hit new PR's in jumproping, did 1400 jumps yesterday. When I started and could barely do 800.

It's nothing I did. It's the execution and your drive of knowledge that gave you any power. I just gave you random info that made you feel more secure in you process. It's all you, man.

Good job so far SP33Demon, the hardest part is getting started. I'm going to go through the process again for a second time to see if I can lose the lovehandles once and for all. I want to go into next year's race season lean and mean with no jiggle. I can replace the weight I carried "naturally" this year with a camelback next year.

Thanks for making it easy for me, the info in this thread covers my needs almost perfectly. 🙂

No prob Megatomic, good luck in your quest.

Thanks SC, I didn't really know jack about counting calories.

One thing I just bought: Digital Kitchen scale. It helps with anything I have to measure in grams for exact calorie count. It also comes with a booklet with a bunch of different food multipliers so you don't have to look up the g/calorie ratio online. Really handy for salads, grilled meats, and cheeses or anything not premeasured.

I never used a scale when I did this last time, but a measuring cup sure did come in handy. If you try to pour 1/2 cup, you'll end up with 1 or 1 1/2 cups almost every time. It's amazing how little 1/2 cup really is when you are measuring out your dinner.
