Starting a Fantasy baseball w/$$$Prize Pool

With 10 ppl the prize stucture would go something like this...

$100/50/30/20


I'd like to hear input on what type of GiftCards we should agree on. Or we could have a list to decide from or just leave it up to the winner to decide in the end?? Tell me what you're thinking! We can keep the league open until draft day to fill all 12 spots.
 
i should be alright with the 9pm EST start on sunday.. thing is i'm going out of town on that weekend, and i'm not really sure when i'll be getting back on sunday.. but i'll try to make it

Hey, count me in... Haven't done Fantasy Baseball before, but need something to replace my fantasy hockey (get really bored at work...). I'll pm u pkypkypky.
 
yay! That would make 9 if everyone pays. I'm advertising elsewhere, but do not worry, all correspondence will remain on this board.

Also, note that I PMed the wrong draft date. I meant Sunday the 3rd, not the 2nd. I have two members who have paid thus far and have info on how to enter the league.

I'd probably rather do Rotissoire as well b/c I think in H2H there is a bigger chance of having a fluke week with your players and the other guys players could get on a hot streak --- in other words, in H2H the best team doesn't always win due to the playoff format. But if everyone else wants H2H then I'm fine with that. Hopefully we get at least 10 teams....JOIN NOW everyone !!!!

Got it... Signed up. Of course my name's so damn long I can't add a real team name... go figure.

Maybe when it starts we should make an "OFFICIAL ATOT FANTASY BASEBALL LEAGUE" thread? Might clean it up a bit so we can get rid of all of these existing posts. Just a thought.
 
It aint that big of a deal... I guess I just won't have a glamorous name to look at when I'm on top of the rankings... 😀

sent some emails out to the ppl who have not responded to my PMs. I also contacted more ppl about joining. Any help or suggestions on getting more members would be very helpful and welcomed. I think we're very close on getting a complete league if I consider that the rest of the ppl on the list were almost positive they were going to signup.

also, TheNinja, are you going to join us anytime soon?

btw: if we don't get an even number of people (or even if we do) I wouldn't mind a straight Roto-style league, but if poeple are set on H2H that's fine with me

also: if we don't get more than 9-10 people we could easily add another Util,P and/or at the very least another bench spot. It makes searching the free agent wire much more fun, with fewer teams typically everyone has all stars on their teams so you don't do much adding/dropping.

just small suggestions and ideas that anyone is free to argue against
 
At this point, I don't want to change major things unless everyone wants it because ppl have paid already. Roto really is a lot different from H2H also. But as always, I'm open to whatever the group is thinking. From now on though, there are going to be real group votes whenever something major is proposed.

I think an ODD numbered group would have a bye team each week. Not exactly how I want it, but we'll see what # we end up at.

Odd-numbered group won't get draft. I've already got 4 teams otherwise I'd help you out. I suppose I could use my other account but 1) I'm broke right now and 2) I know I'd forget to check it on the other account.

If you really don't have anybody maybe I can work something out.
