Whoa...you mean someone actually cares about the Oscars?
Everyone actually in the business does since its all about money and ego's.
I think Selma has a strong chance purely due to the politics surrounding it. A lot of African-American actors and directors are butt hurt over it not getting nominated in other categories. Hollywood loves oppressed minority films. There's probably a lot of behind-the-scenes pressure to give it the win.

That's a serious injustice. To paint everywhere.Award season. When millionaires celebrities get to sit in big fancy ballrooms and circle jerk.
I liked to see who won, but I don't watch the award shows anymore. It's a lot of tripe, and about as fun as watching paint dry.
