Been listening for many years, but ever since I moved much closer to where I work, I don't listen as often. I can't even count the number of times that I'd arrive at my destination and then sit in the car for 2 or 3 minutes to listen to the end of a story.

Yeah, cartalk is cool. I like that show.

i forgot to mention Car Talk. It's by far the best car-related radio or podcast out there. I've listened to the podcasts by the major magazines and they are super boring.

Also, NPR frequently has Car and Driver's chief editor Csaba Csere on for commentary whenever they do a piece on the auto industry. He's articulate and interesting, unlike C&D's podcast goons.

I've listened to Car Talk before and liked it myself. I did not know they were on NPR though. So this is a nice surprise.

anyone else listen to NPR? It's the strangest feeling listening to that station, but i'm starting to prefer it over the rest of the crap out there.

modern music is some horrible garbage, isn't it?

NPR can be pretty interesting at time and it gives you the most unbiased news too.

Yes. It's become very boring and uninspiring. I really can't listen to the old stuff I listened to when i was a teen anymore either.

I switch between KCBS and NPR. I like the food and entertainment editorials on KCBS. If the news gets repetitive on KCBS, I switch over to NPR. I like NPR's use of music between segments.

Ps. If you think NPR has an agenda like that POS fox news, you got a sick and twisted mind.

At least NPR doesn't do the retarded evening news cliffhangers like on TV, "7 things in your Kitchen that can Kill You, AFTER THE BREAK!"

i used to listen to a radio station that played alternative rock in the morning, but i finally couldnt stand it anymore. the music just sucked. then i switched over to a classic rock station and felt much better. that's KFOX in the bay area, greg kihn has a good radio show in the morning too. he doesnt do that hyped up radio dj thing.

anyone seen the family guy episode with those 2 dj's, and then brian and stewie get their own radio show? that was the perfect parody of most radio dj's.
