looks like C&C 🙂 too many things going on... any videos of the gameplay out yet besides IGN's? (heavily hammered)
 
Yay for SC. Let's just hope it doesn't fall to the infamous graphics > gameplay adage that developers seem to be taking nowadays.

it looks very much like SC only extremely polished...
 
i know we were all mocking that it will probably come out in 2012 or something, but this looks so far along in development. this might actually release in a decent amount of time.

yeah I know, I'm hoping by the end of the year, it really looks very polished already
 
Doesn't look graphics heavy, which is nice. Looks like the WC3 engine. All the units/buildings look similar. By the looks of it, you'd think it be coming out within a few months, but sounds more like a couple of years. I'm sure it'll be a great game with lots of new stuff though.

Methinks 2008, right in time for the holidays at the latest. Or maybe they're aiming for release on the 10th anniversary of StarCraft's release (April 1?)

That would be a new record for Blizzard. Looking at the 1999 WC3 screenshots the game looks pretty complete, but ended up coming out three years later.

and screen shots look just 3d version of sc.

hope they can live upto impossible hype they've made for themselves
 
arg...looks like 3d version of original SC. wtf? 🙁

The scale isn't there 🙁. units move just like they do in original SC. company of heroes, supreme commander, and that other WW3 RTS coming out showed what they can do w/ graphics and gameplay these days. Just from the gameplay movies and screenshots, I'm beginning to be dispointed 🙁

I was being serious 😕

In 99, most would have been on dialup. I was on a 56k modem at the time anyway.

Edit: Now that I think about it, there were many videos, I even saved a lot that I wanted to keep for a while, you just couldn't view them on the fly like youtube. Nevermind my two posts, didn't mean to bug ya.
