I feel sorry for people who like Starbucks coffee. Either you're entirely caught up in the hype or you've never had good coffee. Both are equally sad.

Oh, and if there's anyone here who's in an area that has a Dutch Brothers, and you freak out on their coffee like all the other clones, shoot yourself. Worst coffee ever. Just had to get that off my chest :p

I work at Starbucks....actually i just got off of work....Slavedrivers!! making us work on Christmas. Actually it was voluntary...
Anyway, i won't comment on the quality of our drinks, neither to say they're the best, or that there's better....The prices seem normal to me, not rediculous like people are claiming.. but a lot of people love Starbucks because of the atmosphere and the people. Not to mention because they're so close in proximity to everything it's very convenient.

$4 for a cup of coffee? no thanks. hooray for dunkin donuts

$4 for coffee? Are you paying with Hong Kong dollar or something? Last I checked, in the good old USA, coffee at Starbucks is around $1.80 for med or large. It's about the same at Dunkin Donuts.

??? I always pay at least around $3 for a latte

well you pay extra for them to stir warm milk in your coffee;)
yea i know, its steamed milk+espresso or whatever. but thats what you are paying for.

plain coffee is less than 2 bucks. and its just fine. i bet theres more caffeine in a regular coffee as well esp a large..

generally its better than mcdonalds or 7/11.. atleast the coffee is all they make so the pots probably been cleaned recently, with decent turn over so its not been sitting there for hours cooking into ickines.
