Starbucks drinkers...

I would say once every couple of weeks at the most. Sometimes Ill go a month without stopping there. I used to go twice a week but I cut back to reduce calorie intake.

only time i get starjunks is when someone gives me a gift card. otherwise they get no money from me.
i have about $60 in gift cards sitting on my desk. re-gift ftw!

i go maybe once every 2 weeks, and this is for all coffee places in general.

It does tend to be a good place to have a conversation, so sometimes it ends up being the best place to go. I never really crave starbucks/coffee etc.

NEVAHHH!!!! After living with a roommate who brews coffee in the middle of the night (WTF 1:30 AM coffee?), I don't want to smell that crap ever again.

3.00 USD x 365 days = $1,095/year

exceptions:
-the holidays make up for buying two drinks in the same day
-tax included or excluded

fifteen minutes:
-of driving to coffee shop
-getting out and waiting in line
-driving back to where you need to go to next

15 minutes x 365 days = 5,475 minutes/year = 91.25 hours/year = 7.6 hours/month

so is all of this worth it for someone who makes 40 thousand dollars a year at an office job?

the time spent exercising for fifteen minutes in a single day will offer you:
-endo's for less stress and more happiness
-staying more awake in the long run than what a cup of coffee has to offer
-breaking money spending habbits, and saving over a thousand dollars
-improves stability of heart and health
-knowing you don't have to rely on a substance for staying awake
-spending time on yourself, instead of on Starbucks

I don't drink coffee anyway, so if it makes any of you feel better, this is what you can achieve in a year. GG

analyze much?

I used to go 2-3 times a week but stopped because of the calories and the price. I just drink the sludge we have here in the office now if I start nodding off at work.

i will say only a few times a month and that is because someone else is there and got me one.
on the rare occasion i go on my own, its because i want a speciality coffee like their cinnamon pumpkin latte in the fall or their gingerbread cap in the winter.

In my case, I disagree with your dry analysis, and wouldn't consider it a waste of time. I actually enjoy taking ten minutes to get off the chair, walk outside across the street (where the local peets is), and pick up a cup of coffee/chai/tea. Getting some fresh air and circulating the blood in the legs is a good thing.

Most of the time I brew coffee at home & I much prefer Dunkin Donuts w/an espresso shot when I have coffee out, so only if I have no option.

I do go there for those frozen coffee things they make when its really hot out though.

Don't you work at Taco Bell?

I drink a frappuccino almost everyday. That's $1.13 per bottle I believe when you buy it from Costco. When its finals I switch to doubleshots. Those are a bit more running $1.25/can. I rarely walk into a starbucks to buy coffee. But then I'm not one of those idiots who buys boba all the time, and I know people who do. I think that its more dumb than coffee. Coffee is meant to keep you awake. People who go out to buy boba are just getting it for fun, for no purpose at all other than fun. No utility there. So really, unless you're drinking starbucks everyday, going to the store once a week doesnt hurt.
