From the YouTube page:

Star Wars: Uncut

The Story:

In 2009, thousands of Internet users were asked to remake "Star Wars: A New Hope" into a fan film, 15 seconds at a time. Contributors were allowed to recreate scenes from Star Wars however they wanted. Within just a few months SWU grew into a wild success. The creativity that poured into the project was unimaginable.

I've watched the first few minutes and find it amusing....

Heh, pretty cool. I don't have the patience to sit and watch the whole thing, but I skipped forward through a dozen scenes and there is some awesome creativity in the film.

Sometimes it's things like this that prove that the internet is one of the greatest accomplishments in human history.

OMG I don't even like Star Wars all that much (liked the originals mostly, loathed the recent prequels), but this is hilariously awesome. I'm not sure I could watch it in one sitting, but it's awesomely varied.

I get a lot of joy out of seeing some of the really creative/low-budget ways of doing things, reminds me of 1950s sci-fi B movies.
