I guess the SJW types can stop whining that there's not enough black people in Star Wars. Even though Empire and Jedi had Colt connoisseur and all around badass Lando Calrissian. Lando will not be in this movie because his sheer awesomness kept frying the camera.😀

There is already a boycott SW7 hashtag up and going calling it anti-white. The SJW trolls are too quick.

Honestly, IDGAF. The trailer suggests he abandoned the empire and ended up as a force sensitive that gets trained (by Luke maybe?). I am perfectly fine with that. I can't wait.

FFS, can't people just please let me enjoy my fantasy (or fantasay / sci-fi) movies without politics being brought into it...

That's almost as bad as people complaining that Mad Max: Fury Road was too feminist to be a decent action movie....

guess those people also hate Aliens (power loader action sequence anyone?) or Terminator 2...

Notice how Kylo Ren's Light Saber and Rey's staff are parallel? Personally I think it's an indication that they're related.

Just watched the trailer. I probably won't be able to stand up for the next 20 or 30 minutes. Even though the prequels have nothing on the real trilogy, everything Star Wars always gives me chills, and this was no exception. Not to the point of buying advance tickets, mind you, but I'll definitely see this in theaters, probably multiple times.
 
So I was playing Magic earlier and apparently didn't learn that tickets went on sale before the trailer aired on MNF...somehow got through and bought a few tickets to an IMAX showing at 10:30PM and then a standard non-3D one at midnight.

Yes, those times overlap. So why? Because I'm an idiot and didn't realize that the return date on my Paris trip would conflict with the movie release. Now I have to try to get on a standby flight out of MSP earlier or attend the regular midnight showing like everyone else.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaail. I was so mad at myself when I realized it a few weeks ago.
 
I got a ticket for a 7PM showing. Most of the tickets were gone for it, and unfortunately, it seems like the local IMAX theater isn't even doing a presale for the movie. 😵

Yeah. If I was a bettin' man, I'd put my money on someone starting the hashtag just to troll. I mean... it just seems too easy. If that is the case, the worst thing is that so many are falling for it.

got my 11am friday tix, ive got that week off so ill be set. cant do the nught shows because of mynkids. oh well.

trailer was ok, not sure what i was expecting but it didnt really wow me.

My local theater has a directors suite where they have full service and a menu. I failed to get tickets for it because of some stupid rule that disney made them enforce. They told everybody on facebook that tickets would go on sale online and at the theater at the same time. However they sold them 2 hours earlier at the theater and people planning to buy them online(me) got the shaft.

Planned for this day for 2 years. However they put marathon tickets on sale for all 7 movies and i got some of those. So I still get to see the movie at 7pm on opening night, and i get to go in at 4am and watch I-VI as well. I wanted my fiance to get the experience of an opening night Star Wars movie, so I guess she's getting the ultimate one.

Its already been said he's not a Sith. He's a Knight of Ren, which is a completely different order.

Red saber does not automatically make you a Sith. Nor does the using the darkside. The Sith and Jedi are both orders. Not every force user is attached to an order, or the same order.

Also they are not siblings......... but they are family 😉 Thank about it
 
$16.35 to buy a 7:00 3D ticket online. If this wasn't fucking Star Wars Episode 7 I'd tell Regal where they can cram their convenience fee. :'(
 
7pm showing opening night tickets in hand. Screw 3D.
Sadly, didn't get the ultra-screen. Apparently it was rented out already.

Haven't missed one opening showing yet.
The new trailer has me more geeked out than ever.
