which book? I have read all of the past ANH and I never heard of them. Also, the Death Star was built in the Maw Cluster by Tarkin, not that winged runt.

So, if it's only a select few that have midichlorians that are Jedi's and thus have "the force", why is it in ANH that before the battle on the Death Star, the commander says to EVERYONE, "May the force be with you."

Also, in ANH, Darth Vader is said to be in an "ancient religion" by one of the other commanders.

I see that the midichlorians wrecked a good thing for me. I've since repressed that part of TPM...

Don't worry, I'm sure they can edit those parts out when they release the Platinum Collector's Edition DVD of the original trilogy. If we're lucky, maybe they'll just cut out all of Empire Strikes Back and we'll get 90 minutes of Jar Jar putting together a puzzle.

If and when lucas does release the pile of stinking feces that is a boxed set of EP 1 -3 I plan to edit out all of jar jar related material, the little kid in EP 1, any CGI muppets, and the entirety of the horribly ackward and tedius "love scene" in EP2.

Honeslty that sounds like a lot of work that I may never really get around to doing so I think I'll just pass altogether and enjoy 4-6.

So Tarkin drew the plans, organized the labor, and wielded a hammer?

One of the books showed that there were dozens of Death Stars under construction at any given time prior to the fall of the Empire.

"May the force be with you." is an expression meaning good luck.

The Jedi were an acient religion esp in ANH. "Your sad devotion to that ancient religion hasn't helped you conjure up the stolen data tapes or given you clairvoince enough....choke choke choke".

Darth Vader was basically the only Jedi left other than Obi Wan Kenobi and maybe Yoda.

😀

Ok, that got a laugh out of me.

Question: I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but, in threads people constantly argue that Vader would have been the most powerful Jedi if he could have controlled his emotions (even more than the emperor). However, if all of his power in the force came from midi-chlorians in his cells and most of his body is burned up in the third, how can he be powerful at all? Shouldn't he be less powerful than Luke? Just a thought about the whole stupid midi-chlorian thing.
