I pledged and I am fine with it being on consoles. I just expect proper PC visuals, menus and controls
I doubt we'll see it on consoles mainly because of the cash shop, MS & Sony wouldn't allow it or would want a cut of the revenue. Also patching so everyone has the same version could be difficult.

Anyone else notice there was a new patch for the hanger? I booted it up tonight and was surprised. I looked around for a bit but didn't notice to much of a difference beyond the catwalk being completed. I did take a couple more screen caps but I don't feel like they do the game justice. Here they are though for anyone interested.

Awesome man. Thanks for the tip. I bought the cheapest gun option available(4000 uec credits) and now my hanger is huge! hehe

i guess it expands to hold your new gear. not sure i'd spend the credits on a gun just for that though; get the gun because you want it and can use it! i got the neutron gun for my 300i's nose mount. seems to (so far) have the highest burst damage of any weapon released yet. massive energy draw though, but it's ok. laser spam for long range, then change to neutron when they get close! :twisted:

Yeah, they really jumped in pledges over the last 2 months as they made the rounds to a couple conventions. I am really personally getting excited for this game with the release of the hanger. I have probably spent more than I wanted, and will probably spend some more to show my continuing support.

At this point it is more of a statement to the major publishers that there are people who want these games, and they want them done right and not just tossed out the door.

It also shows future game devs that they don't need to deal with big publishers and their restrictions, if they're making a game that people want, you can go straight to the people for funding.

I mean, it is WAY too soon to be buying hardware for this game. We will be lucky to see Alpha by April 2014. By then there will be a whole new generation of cards out.

Its one thing for people to be building a rig now but by the time this game gets out newer cards will be out. Better to save up and wait for it release before building a rig I'd say if you want a rig specifically for the game. Especially if you are planning to buy a new monitor or monitors. The monitor segment is fast changing currently as well.

Yeah especially with the 4k monitors just popping up. That being said, I don't think you will be able to run this game at 30+ fps on a 4k monitor with anything less than 4 titans...

Heck with 4k monitors. This game was made for that rift thingy or for surround gaming on say 3 monitors. That's like a perfect cockpit kind of view.

I've always threatened to make a cockpit for gaming... i really just might do this in my basement.

I just wanted to reiterate that I'm open to helping new and current pledges get ships and packages with LTI at cost. I've had the pleasure of helping a few members so far but the more the merrier.

For those who are on the fence:
Yes LTI ends November 26th so you have time in that regard, however there are just over 20k ALPHA Slots left. Once those are gone, even if you buy a package with LTI, you will not be able play around in your ship until beta* at the earliest.

I believe there are enough of us... I wouldn't mind that, but it almost always comes down to when we have playtime vs being linked by a message board. Looking at how well the Guild Wars 2 Anandtech Guild made out, there were only 6-10 active players USA PM timezones....
