Anything to compromises my well being

Other than that it would always depend on the situation
I would murder someone, but not say, a father of 2 child or something... Maybe some loser with no connections, I wouldnt mind doing that

Since your name is KGB, are you looking to hire? 😛

I haz no "moral compass" to interfere with my life decisions. I have "ethics" that I use to guide me, but they're rarely "cast in concrete," and I can, on occasion, violate those ethics when necessary.

Human life is pretty cheap. I learned that over 40 years ago.

I don't think I could become a professional hit-man, not because of an aversion to killing people, but because I don't want to work that fucking hard anymore.

Hmmmm, let's go to the chalk and break this down. :hmm:

1. Getting naked? Always fun!

2. All you can eat, WEEK old Mexican goodness? Yummy!

3. Cleanliness being next to Godliness? Of course!

4. $12 bonus? Profit!

Sure it he shits on my face or head I run the risk of getting it in my eyes, nose, or throat and I could get an infection. On my chest I most likely won't have an open wound so the risk is minimized.

$12M can buy a hella penicillin.

Let's say I was hiring (for the sake of discussion).

How much to 'off' a mother of four children?

No amount of money would convince me to do that. I would never be able to get over it. Life's short, and I'd be dead way before I felt better about it.

At this point, I think watching Wilfred on FX is going to be one of the things you won't be able to pay me to do...

I suspect your compass doesn't need calibration but I have a hard time respecting someone who's been here half as long as me and has over 10x as many posts. 😛

So, ... for $10M / year you'd 'allow' Warren Buffet to shit on your chest but not on your head?
I'd admit to being willing to do it.

it's a matter of doing something I dislike a little bit for 1,960 hours/year (work) to make $60,000 versus doing something I dislike a lot for 5 minutes/year to make $10,000,000.

In the premise, one would have to be Mr. Buffets personal toilet for the entire year.
I think, even at his advanced age... he dumps more than once a year.

After reading THIS THREAD and the blatant greed and avarice displayed within prompted this question:

What wouldn't you do for money?

Arson?
Rape?
Prostitution?
Murder?

And even further... how low would you debase yourself for money?

For instance: what if Warren Buffet hired you for $10 million / year to be his personal toilet?

Discuss.

I wouldn't murder or rape someone but prostitution? Hell, I'd let Alkemyst fuck me for the right amount of money.

being married to a DNA forensic scientist... rape and murder are the only ones I would have the knowledge base of how to perform successfully trace free.

In the history of mankind, there have been quite a few people who sacrificed their personal health and safety for money....actually, many jobs require/carry a certain amount of risk.

Everyone's price is going to be different based on the servity of the kind of risk involved (safety, moral, etc) and how bad the lasting effects are perceived to be. Some people do the job and don't take the work home with them, but more often than not...people end up letting it get to them. Health concerns such as disease or working in toxic conditions (think about the Japanese nuclear disaster) make those decisions difficult, but the burden typically will be picked up by a select few that want to keep others safe.

The best example I can think of on a wide-spread basis is a soldier. Throughout history, they have slaughtered innocents, burned villages, raped women, killed other soldiers in hand-to-hand combat, been exposed to extreme weahter conditions, shot at with arrows, guns, shelled with artillary, and are basically paid to be pawns of the societies they represent....sometimes for nothing more than 3 squares a day. Sometimes becuase they're following family tradition.

There are a lot of people that wouldn't touch that gig with a 10 foot pole because when you run the numbers, the risk outweighs the reward unless you throw nobility and pride into it.

When it comes to what people won't do for money, I think it all depends on how well they think whatever the offer is through and how desperate they are for the money. I've got a roof over my head, a solid job, and I sleep well at night...things could be worse. If I had 1 million dollars, my life would be very similar...I'd just have updated appliances, maybe a new car, and pay higher taxes.

what if she was an awful abusize POS parent, and lets say the father was a good guy but can't get custody because, well, he's the father?

what then?

I'd probably off the bitch
