With the bar in the rack it is at my upper chest and below the shoulders.. When is on my back and I'm standing up straight the bar touches or is very close to the pins above. I could duck walk the weight out but when the weight gets heavy I'm afraid I will hurt myself. The pins are fixed so I can't adjust their height. The only other solution I can think of is wear shoes that change my height.
Is the proper way to use the rack is to face the pins or face away from the pins?
