I just lift bare foot, although I lift in my basement so that may not be an option for people at the gym.

for some reason I can't go full barefoot. I always lift in socks.

Haven't lifted while wearing a pair of shoes in years. Love me home gym.

FWIW I'm approaching a 500lb squat and primarily wear .75" Rogue Do-Wins for squatting twice a week at two different gyms - i.e. different surfaces of hardwood and rubber. I'd like to try the Romaleo 2's but can't justify the extra cost + don't want to change things when I'm getting big gains in the Do-Wins. A couple of teammates use Romaleos and love them though. Our heavyweight wears Adidas and he likes them. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, as long as you're getting that elevated heel. Like others have said, you are going to only want to use them for squatting or OLY movements, especially if quad dominant.
