I just recently learned that Detroit pizza is a thing and one of my projects next week will be to modify my sicilian recipe to mimic it.

It's ridiculously amazing. Like the article says, it's not something you want to eat every day because it's so rich, but it's definitely worth making a few times a year at least!

That Lloyd's pan is awesome. If you get into making it at home, it's definitely worth the investment! Plus you can use it for lasagnas & whatever.

I have a variety of odd pans that have been passed down, immigrants making due with what they had, and every one of them is more versatile than the overpriced stuff you can get from the wedding registry cooking stores. My roasting pan, I don’t even know where it came from, is well seasoned and does everything from pizza to pasta bakes.
