<< you know i really don't like people not giving the Spurs enough credit for winning a game and putting up a tough fight in game one. everyone just accounts it to the Lakers playing sh*tty as if they're all high and mighty (all the laker fans will say this is so) and only lose a game when THEY'RE not up to it. But damn, the Spurs have played a great series so far after so many people have assumed the Lakers to run away with everything before the season even started. Give the Spurs some credit. >>

I like the spurs but I am a lakers fan. It's strange that the season that I enjoy the most was back in 99' when spurs went all the way. I think lakers need a wakeup call like this today.....Let's face it! Yes! Spurs deserves more credit but Lakers are playing exceptionally poor so far in the playoff. I voted lakers in 5...but now I think lakers will need probably 6 games to finish off the series.....Spurs losing 3 straight home games is just very unlikely.

The Spurs are a hella nasty team with these guys:
Bruce Bowen
Danny Ferry
Malik Rose
Mark Bryant
Terry Porter
Cherokee Parks

Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 31 points as the Lakers beat the Spurs 99-89.

The Spurs kept it close all night but ran out of gas in the end. Tim Duncan paced San Antonio with 28 points and 12 rebounds

Kobe Bryant led the Lakers in scoring with 28 points but none were more important than the 2 he dropped in with only 5.1 seconds to go putting the Lakers past the Spurs 87-85.

L.A. rallied back from a 10-point deficit late in the game to beat the Spurs who were paced by Tim Duncan's 30.

Lakers. San Antonio doesn't want it bad enough, and their loss the other night shows they are not ready for the win or go home pressure of the playoffs. Same thing happened to my Mavs last night by Sacramento. But our guys are young and they WILL be back :)

lakers in 4?

He posted it on the 5th, so the series hadn't gone 4 games yet.

Lakers will probably win tonight. Dammit! They're good...they're a frickin powerhouse. But I can't stand them! :D I'm sick of Fox running down the court looking like he's in dire need of an enima. I'm sick of Fisher wearing that stupid headband over his ears. I'm sick of Bryant & Shaq appearing in half the commercials I see. I'm just sick of the Lakers in general. Too bad Dallas is just about out of it.

Keep that funk alive!

ps - this is just a typical anti-Laker rant. No need for you loyalists to chew me out...I know they're good. :)
