sprint pcs new plan

as of 6/7 sprint pcs has a new promotional plan. for 40 dollars a month, you ll get 2500 minutes, 350 anytime minutes + 2150 night and weekends minutes. they can probably give you the 500 n/w minutes a month for next 10 months too if you ask the sale rep for it.

a lot of minutes, but beaware that sprintpcs has many deadzones in the coverage area.

Depending on the city you live in, Sprint can have excellent or somewhat poor digital coverage. The reason is that their PCS network is not that old (~6 years?) and they simply haven't had the time/money yet to build all the towers they need in some areas. However, if you live in a larger city/urban area it shouldn't be much of a problem.

I sure wish Sprint covered more of the country. Even in the
places they cover, coverage can be spotty.

When is someone gonna cobble together a truly nationwide--in
ALL major and semi-major metro markets--service?

you can choose free long distance or between free wireless web; or an additional 2150 n/w minutes.

shoot. I just signed up for 1200 mins for $34.99 on Monday. Can I upgrade my service to this one just by paying $5 extra everymonth? anyone knows?

Kraeji, Sprint stopped the promotion for first incoming minute free about a year ago. As they say, it was nice while it lasted

How does that coolcelldeals thing work? I looked all through the site and couldn't find any information about the service. I've never seen such a thing! Where do you choose the phone company? By "PCS" am I to assume I am buying a Sprint contract? The 2 year commitment is a little rough too.

Assuming the Cool thing is Sprint, how do you get the Cool phone and the sprint plan together? The Cool plans are much more expensive than the Sprint plans.

Yes ... you can always change plans with Sprint.

Wat do people think aboutvoicestream and verizon? they have some good deals too.

voicestream $40 gets u 2600 mins. 2000 n/w +600 anytime
verizon $35 gets u 300 anytime mins.

no roaming or LD charges in the northeast (which is where i am).

someone please respond soon. im going to sign up for a cell this saturday.

btw, is there any site that has reviews of cell carrier services? i kno of epinions, but they dont have much for voicestream. PM me please

I've been with Sprint PCS for about a year now. Previously I had Verizon Wireless Analog service. Of course the digital service is much better, but Sprint's plans are also much better. I currently pay $29.99 for 250 anytime mins. w/ 2 free options (nationwide long distance and wireless web). I figure for $10.00 a month more, the additional 2250 minutes are worth it (especially since most of my airtime is evening and weekends). I highly recommend this plan to anyone looking for a new plan or to upgrade. Sprint also has a great selection of phones (I use the Samsung 8500). Coverage is pretty good to. If you travel and stay along the main highways, you can usually get a digital signal. I very, very rarely Analog roam. Good luck to anyone choosing this plan!

what they need is not new plans..but NEW PHONES !!!!

have u guys seen the phones offered in Europe and Asia..

they are at least 2 generations ahead compared to what we have here

New phones are on the way. Check out this page and this page. Not all of these are Sprint PCS, but some will be available through Sprint. I would like to see them pick up the Nokia phones, but they do offer a wide selection of phones. Verizon used to only offer 2 phones for digital plans (I'm not sure how many they have now). You can also check out the top 5 Sprint PCS phones, according to Cnet.

Just go pick up an AT&T One Rate cell phone. No roaming, no long distances anywhere in the US, even if it's not in an AT&T coverage area. Granted, it's a bit more than some other plans, but no roaming charges anywhere makes it worth it if you travel at all.

If you live in Hawaii...DON"T GET SPRINT...just thoght i'd let you guyz know that i can't get a really good signal anywhere on this island...

Yep, my bro was in the philippines (thank god he came back) and came home with this cool nokia. Not only do they have much much better phones but they also have better features and rates. Nobody here does SMS (simple message service. like little phone to phone notes up to 200char that costs pennies)right and everything is so affordable there. You'd think in america we'd be the ones ahead of the world.

And yes, there are new phones coming out that are hot but they arent at sprint. Why the hell wont sprint use nokia? Ive been wanting to replace my POS 6100 for months but nothing is coming down the line.

i just got the sprint touchpoint 1100 using something similar to coolcelldeals.com, the lil phone kicks too much butt, 2 lcd sceens.

you can also get that neopoint for free on coolcelldeals, kind of a PDA
