Drive came OEM with 1" foam all around, in an oversized box.

Perhaps they read the original posts complaining about packaging?

Received mine already then realized my mobo doesnt natively support raid...

You're better off not using onboard RAID. It can be very troublesome and buggy. I've had numerous MB's with buggy onboard RAID. Just use built-in software RAID in the O/S. It's more reliable than onboard.

Finally, got mine today. With the "authorize secondary address" bullshit, had to send it to my parents' and then get it shipped down here. Complete bull.

Warranty check on mine shows code 101, OEM. Anyone ever figure out what this really means? I assume it isn't under warranty at all, which if I'd known I'd have just paid the extra 20 bucks at the egg for one with a 3 year warranty...

I guess if it craps out it'll teach me to check up on AT hot deals websites before I order from them. And I'll be sending a curse in the OP's direction.

Are you drunk? That is some of the worst poetry I've ever read.
