Picture was confirmed as a fake awhile back.
Spidey got the black costume during Secret Wars, not Infinity Gauntlet. It was the heroes vs. the Beyonder, in addition to an army of supervillians. He tried to use a clothing machine people were using to make new threads. He used the wrong one, got a little black ball of goo that ran up his arm, nd voila! Alien costume.

Wasn't that said to simply be a black-n-white pic of the red-n-blue costume?

The one the OP posted is the normal red-and-blue costumed photoshoped black.
The one on IMDB is the same as the one on the official site http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/spid...nloads/wallpapers/wallpaper1_1280.html
Look at the difference in the chest emblem thing.
Spider-Man 3 began production in 2005 under director Raimi. The studio has announced a theatrical release date of May 4th, 2007, on a budget reputed to be north of $250 million. [1] The Official Sony Pictures Website has featured a black and white picture of Spider-Man sitting in the rain during the night. Because of the noir-esque coloring of the photo, many have made the mistake of assuming he is sporting his popular 1980's all-black costume. This costume is what eventually became the costume of Venom, the much rumored co-villain of Spider-Man 3. However, upon any level of scutiny, the webbing and texture of the original blue and red costume is readily apparent. Thomas Hayden Church has been cast as Sandman - the second villain of the movie. Note: There is possibly the image of Venom's face in Spider-Man's eyepiece in the promotional poster.
