In San Antonio, on Broadwa south of 410, the speed for the area changes radically. 60 to 35, to 50, to 20 all in a matter of a few blocks. I was looking for a restuarant to meet some friends at and had never been in that area. I was scanning the side and WAS going the speed limit when it changed. Got nailed for 60 in a 35. Luckily, I didn't go to jail because I could have for anything over 20 is considered reckless endangerment and reckless driving here.

The cop I guess had a change of heart and said, I'll only put down 55 for what you were going. I ended up going to court and claiming not guilty and "haggling" with the DA. Just had to pay $80 instead of $230 and my record was wiped clean.
