I was doing so well the last few months and then I decided to buy things... Rough. Of course, last month I also had to pay for a security deposit on my new apartment (and I kept my previous security deposit in cash). So, that swayed things significantly. I would be still in the positive if it wasn't for that. (Huge security deposits here)

I've had the $1000 vacuum cleaner and a $80 trash can for over a year. What else could a person want... Many things, apparently. I've been waiting for a good sale on a KitchenAid stand mixer (I did buy a hand mixer to hold me over but it's total garbage compared to ones I've used before) and on a nice blender. I've also looked on craigslist but people want so much for these things because they paid full retail price (newbz).

I bought two pair of Airforce(!) BDUs from Goodwill today. Cost $15 for both. I now have BDU/ACUs from every service except USMC and Coast Guard(?). I also got a set of cheap drill bits for the work truck from HarborFreight. ~$15 with my coupon. Banner day.

Not too bad. It was $225.

I also bought 4 double walled glasses this last week too. Couple bodum ones (The one I had for 9+ months finally broke) and a couple other crate & barrel generics.

I love double walled glasses. I recently switched over from the typical 8oz coffee mug to 13.5oz double walled.

They seem pretty sturdy but these are better since they have a small flair at the base that keeps them more stable.

Mine look similar to that. They don't have a handle though. I prefer them without a handle. Scary to hold these things when they're wet or get a bit of condensation going though!

One of my glasses actually felt like it must have had a crack or something because it was condensating on the outside so much. I could feel it get very cold. My previous glasses didn't do that almost at all. The benefit of double wall glasses for me is that the ice doesn't melt as quickly in them. Which is a really big problem for me with most glasses I've used.
