No 56 cores that I am aware of, even rumors. Certainly not any real CPU's. 28 in any field is it I think. 38 rumored to come. And any rumors of 56, do you have any links ?Eh?
I thought that they had 56 core SKU's?
That's what I meant by relatively even, and even then only in absolute single thread or MT + AVX 512.
I'm not amping up Intel here, actually the opposite - I was meaning that when 10nm matures further that they will scale up beyond 56 to better compete, even if the TDP goes thru the (already burning) roof in the process.
And I guess we should continue this in an Intel thread, as this is the Ryzen 4000 thread.
