I'll sometimes get a special order...depends what it is. If it's a burger that comes with onions...no onions, please (unless it's white castle, those onions are OK). Chicken sandwich, I usually have them add cheese. I always go inside though, since I hate drive thrus, so I'm not holding up any DT line.

What pisses me off are the morons who get the lunch order for their whole office, and give it at the drive thru in the middle of lunch rush. "Um hi, I'd like 12 Big Macs, 3 with no pickles and 2 with no ketchup, 5 McChickens, 3 crispy chicken clubs, 8 medium regular cokes, 2 small diet cokes, etc... and then they sit at the window for 15 minutes while the cooks prepare their stupidly large order and the line builds up behind them and everyone in it is fuming. That's probably the biggest reason I no longer use the drive thru.

I don't like mayo, ketchup, or mustard on my sandwiches. This means I pretty much always have to special order. Unfortunately I can't just order it regular and pick off the sauce.

It depends on what type of extras they use. I.E. leafy lettuce comes off easy so no special order, but shredded is much harder to remove.

I gotta vote "no".

I'm never taking anything off, I'm always asking for extra ketchup, mayo, mustard and salt. I'm putting more on.

Isn't ordering more of something still a special order?

Meh, I phrased it bad. I don't ask for it ordering. I just over to the condiments and put them on myself. Although I do often have to ask the person who hands me the bag of food for the mayo & mustard.

Most every burger joint has switched to pre-cooked patties and doesn't premake the entire burger. Custom orders take no additional time.

If you have to "pull forward" it's because fries or your patty type wasn't ready, not because of the special order.

Some guy did this to me in the store... I was the ONLY person in line behind him, yet he didn't have the courtesy to say "Go ahead in front of me, I'm ordering for ten people"

Where is the option for: "I don't eat fast food"

Just curious as to how many people do and don't.
