3--this isn't about consent. You guys are arguing the double standard in punishment depending on gender. The reason for the double standard has nothing to do with
consent (your appeal to "emotional maturity"), and everything to do with the clearly obvious differences in physiological consequences between the genders; and, when it comes to age, how those physiological consequences affect a teenager vs an adult in the same situation, are quite different.
Sorry, thought a simple statement to that regard was enough and that I wouldn't have to spell it out. I should know better...
