Well usually during a nude scene for women, they'll all of a sudden toss in a few shots of Peen and that pretty much kills the mood for me. I personally think they spend too much time on slow motion orgy shots, I'd rather they dedicate more time to the story or dialogue or something...but I totally get why they do it.

Are these episodes available anywhere online? I know the first one was available on the Starz site but with them no longer having an agreement with Netflix, I can't watch them beyond that. Is Starz planning on making them available online at some point?

Ya, good call on that one huh?? I often wonder if the writers read the Internet forums to get a sense of what people do and don't like. Everyone hated creepy Cossutius after a tiny part in the one season. All of a sudden he shows up in this season with no real purpose other than to look creepy and then get killed so people can cheer.

Awesome episode!! best of the season easily. My general thoughts.

1. CGI during area collapse was horrible, but they probably didn't want to go over budget, fine with me.
2. Did I see a leg scissor takedown at one point as well as a kneebar/leglock of some sort?? - Awesome
3. Who else say the Rhaskos death from a mile away. Somebody had to die while Spartacus and Agron were waiting for the fire....lol. Predictable as far as deaths, but whatever
4. Cheers for Glabber....I guess. The writers have taken him from super villian, to someone who many viewers start to pity b/c everyone conspire against him and makes fun of him. Anything to piss off his bitch wife and the now dead old man.
5. The next person I want to die is the Bobby Moynihan looking dude who's always in charge of the games.

It's getting kind of ridiculous but hey I still like it. I think the show has gone past trying to be somewhat realistic and turned more into a graphic novel or caricature of itself. There are always thing like WTF during each episode, some good and some just odd.

1. When they fight amongst themselves they get cut a lot, don't you think many would die of infection from that and need stitches? Or when they clock each other in the mouth, they don't lose any teeth?
2. Ashur has to realize Glabber is going to kill him when he's done with him right? Unless Ashur strikes first...hmm
3. Why did Mira shoot an arrow right through the middle of the fight to stop that slave girl? She could have killed Spartacus or Gannicus and didn't need to kill the girl. She couldn't have said...."Hey, Agron, that girl is the one who stole the map, go catch her."? I know why the did it of course b/c it's cool action and shows that Mira is starting to get skilled at archery, which will undoubtably come into play later.
4. Speaking of that blonde girl....are they trying to tell me that among a bunch of testosterone filled former slaves, not 1 was interested in being with her? She was the best looking one left.
5. I loved the beatdown that Seppius got. He was an arrogant punk. His death scene was some horrible acting though.
6. They are almost making Glabber more likable b/c he's taking out the Roman trash himself. How the tides have turned for Glabber though. First his wife was going to abort his kid and leave him. Now his prick father in law is dead, his main problem with Seppius is gone, he still gets to bone his wife, plus he's making a play for a younger girl in Seppia, who seems smitten by powerful men.

i finally caught up with this season, and holy shit, this season is fucking epic as shit so far! i really REALLY am liking this show a lot now. after the first 2 eps of this show i almost wrote it off as some b movie fake ass 300 movie. i'm SSSSOOOOO glad that i stuck with it.

i now actually appreciate the style that the show has and really enjoy it. like everything about this show is just awesome now. i think that the episode 2 weeks ago when they took down the colloseum was one of the most badass episodes of this show. i was also happy to see ganicus make an appearance, i thought his character was really cool in the prequel season.

Ashur plays a good "bad guy" especially since he doesn't look as much like the Pillsbury Dough Boy anymore.

The new actress who plays Naevia isn't as hot as the old one.
