Pigeon served in restaurants are not the decease infested ones you see pooping on your car. They are farm raised.

And pigeon taste great. Haven't have any in at least 20 years.

Authorities in New York are actually worried about geese. There are too many of them, and they are being captured and killed by the thousands.

What do they do with the birds after capture? They should sell them for food. Dove tastes good, and I bet pigeon does too.
Pigeons + large blender = 100% locally-grown pet food.

Grinding up the entire bird is the meat equivalent of a whole-grain food. :D

If it were acme, wouldn't they have escaped?
Or else the launcher would have simply exploded.

Quite delicious. At the livestock auctions I attend, pigeons go for anywhere from $2 each up to $15 each. I've always wondered how many people saw $$$ and decided to go to the city & trap them in some efficient manner.

However, paying attention to who is buying, I noticed that apparently the meat buyers know exactly what they're looking for & can probably distinguish farm raised from flying city rats somehow.

wow the reaction time of those things are remarkable... the outer ones already started flapping their wings before human ears could tell the brain what to think.

After they stopped filming, the birds all suddenly became really still. Then, one of the guys looked inside the net to see what happened, and saw that all of the pigeons were actually lit sticks of dynamite with wings.

The guy's eyes got really big, he held up a sign that said "*mommy!*", and then exploded.

Modern cities with a large pigeon population...this wouldn't be a problem if the plebs lack a ready supply of cheap protein from the meat store or super market. There weren't a lot of pigeons flying in Ho Chi Minh City in the early 80s after the liberation. Even the rats were running for their lives.
