I suggest you don't trust everything your administration tells you. You were misled about Iraq and the "war on terrorism." This is part of a general fearmongering push on the part of the White House. sCADKindaGUY, it's important to be on guard for terrorism, but most people who live in back woods do not need to buy duct-tape...

Then don't buy any;)

Anyway, I was not misled about Iraq, nor about the War on Terrorism. YOU may think you were, but it isn't Bush who is misleading you;)

I certainly won't. I am trying to share my knowledge with you because are being misled.

Yes, people do laugh at you. There are a lot of other posters that do that. Try to understand why your neighbors are laughing at you. As conjur says crudely, you are drinking the proverbial coolaid again and people find it funny. I think it's sad. I'm trying to help YOU.

Haha, might work. Remember that you will need a safe water supply, and that even those pipes going into the house could provide avenues for trouble. ;)

Who's wearing the tin foil hat tonight? ;)

Oh, I already have the water supply taken care of. I got the landlord to sign off on the 500 gallon water tank I buried in the back yard;)

But yeah it's fun to imagine what it is like to be a member of the tin-foil brigade sometimes.;)

Oooh, not good. Any and all piping into the house will be an issue. Properly filtering it would be tough at best. :Q

I worked in DC when the alert level was orange. One of my friends brought a respirator (?, not quite a gas mask...) with him every day. Hell, he gave a presentation on what to do if there was a terrorist attack in the area. It wasn't pretty, and all very logical (didn't involve tin foil hats). It's a sobering thing to go through. ;)

So were you also joking when you took up all those neocon positions? As I've said in another post directoed to you, it's hard to tell which absurd ideas you hold true. I can only assume you honestly believe all of them.

"Should I be worried?"
I'm here to help you.

I have heard people say that you are the roadrunner of P&N because you go "bleat-bleat" (the roadrunner said "meep-meep" in case you forgot). I haven't come to the same conclusion because on occasion I have seen you address issues instead of your normal issuance-of-quips-and-ditch.

"You actually think I was going to put plastic on my house?:p"
Yes. Do you actually believe that Bush is a good president or were you joking about that too?

Once you stop laughing perhaps you can tell me if your postings to date have been an "ingorant neocon" gag or if you have been serious.

Once you gain control of yourself perhaps you can defend some of your previous statements. If you don't, I will assume you don't have support for them. There's nothing wrong with changing your mind though. Think of this as a learning experience for you.

Should have remembered the soybeans. A family friend lives on/near/something a soybean farm in Illinois. Can't let the terrorists get those! They might get healthy or something! :p

If terrorists launch major attacks this summer...ie blowing up the Olympics, It will be time to lock and load and take no prisoners.

Oh yes....Al Queda would probably also guarantee Bush's re-election and John Kerry may as well go home and go back to playing Senator.

Lefty's would still vote for him, but the middle would surely go for Bush with a new mandate....to quote the Metallica song "all within my hands" ....." KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL"

Kill who? You cannot fight terrorists the same way you fight countries, are you too daft to get that? You can't just invade and try to find them planlessly, it isn't that easy, there are two ways of creating a world without enemies:

1.) blow up the entire globe

2.) don't fvck with people who want to be left alone.

Now no 1 is a bit drastic and it is already too late for no 2, so this will go on for very many years to come, but i have a feeling that many of you are reacting like a 4 year old and doing the opposite of what is best for your own good.

Not on a personal level, heavens no, you would never dare to do that, but on a national level, because you believe you have the big bully watching your back. When it comes to terrorism, the big bully does not know who to strike, there is no clear enemy, or rather, the enemy is everywhere but you cannot spot who he is.
